Diabetes Education

The doctors, nurse educators, dietitians and other diabetes care professionals at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center provide valuable education and information to help you manage your health.
The educational program covers topics such as:

- Diabetes disease process
- Foot care
- Meal planning
- Medication or insulin
- Monitoring blood glucose

In order to participate in the diabetes education program, you will need a physician's referral and must also meet with a dietitian to set goals before the program begins.
